Is it worth it without all the DLC?

Just popped up from my wish-list at a reasonable discount but did notice there's some more DLC that isn't included. This one always one I was interested in especially with the variety of creatures she can turn into but it sees like i'd miss out on a few different play-styles.

You can get the Ultimate Edition, which includes all the DLC, here for less

Find it weird this game is still available for purchase. Wonderboy Returns was pulled when Wonderboy Returns Remix released… and they aren’t even the same games! Half Genie Hero ultimate is literally this game with all the dlc included and some new stuff!
