The most anomaly-packed season hits PG3D with Update 24.9!


The fan-favorite PGA season returns, bringing chills and thrills! Expect eerie new weapons inspired by the strangest SCP Foundation anomalies, plus a special Pixel Pass treat—the Teleporting Relic gadget that completely redefines mobility on the battlefield. Finally, Update 24.9 will conclude the major storyline arc surrounding the search for Pixel Man.

Lore

It turns out those surreal fungal dreams were just a simulated simulation. Daisy awakens in the lab of the PGA—a special agency dedicated to capturing, containing, and destroying dangerous anomalies. The agents know Pixel Man is trapped in the dark depths of the Backrooms, and they’re ready to arm Daisy with whatever it takes to break him free. But there’s a trick to this treat: Daisy must help PGA face the most dangerous anomalies in the Backrooms, threats that could haunt not only San Blockcisco but the entire planet.


While Daisy battles deadly entities, Pixel Man faces a personal adventure. Trapped in a haunted mansion, he finds himself in endless, gloomy hallways—as if the entire house is nothing but dark, winding corridors.

Help Pixel Man escape from this cursed estate alive! Your task is to choose one of the eerie hallways and follow it to the end for the ultimate reward. At the exit awaits the Halloween avatar Soulskeeper Pumpkin, the spectral laser sniper rifle Soul Angler, and the new Souls Lamp cape.

Only the boldest pixelgunners will brave every gloomy corridor and claim extra rewards. A booster will be your only shield in this ghost-ridden mansion—but the main rewards are within reach for everyone. Will you dare to explore?


Something wicked is going down in San Blockcisco! Someone—or something—is attacking residents and leaving serious destruction in its wake. The mayor is panicked, and law enforcement is at a loss. It’s time for the pixelgunners to roll up their sleeves and clear the streets of this unknown threat.

The most successful defenders will earn a reward from the mayor—a new weapon, the Anomaly Compass automatic rifle, equipped with a locator to track down enemies.


New Chests

We’ve made some adjustments to the player reward system and are introducing new chests. The goal is to make rewards more valuable and varied. These new chests will gradually roll out into the game, but you’ll be able to check them out soon in the Tournament and Pixel Pass.

We've carefully reviewed your feedback, made significant adjustments to the weapon balance, and are now ready to share the current results with you!

From October 8th (12 UTC) to October 10th (13 UTC), we'll be running a global weapon balance playtest to make Pixel Gun 3D even more competitive and fun. All you need to do is jump into the game, test out weapons across different categories and rarities, and share your impressions. This last step is crucial, as your feedback will guide future developments in the game.

The playtest is time-limited, so don't miss your chance to shape the future of your favorite game. Every Pixelgunner's opinion matters.

Set a reminder in your calendar, prepare your gear, and we'll see you in the playtest the day after tomorrow!

A new event like never seen before in PG3D!

In your hands is a large, interactive map with four biomes and a lot of rewards, including the exciting Ancient Baobab cannon and three unique skins for it.

To get to the prizes, you'll have to prove that you're the toughest Pixelgunner in the forest! Fight in matches like there's no tomorrow, earn tokens for each defeated opponent and gradually take over new areas of the map. And at the very end a boss battle awits!

To claim all of the unique rewards you only need your guns and the skills to use them. And if that's not enough for you, grab the special pass for even more loot.

Score extra tokens in Personal Events, daily Task Hub missions, and Brawls. Stay sharp—you'll need to fight both hard and smart.

We've seen a lot of your messages about older weapons not being as effective as the new ones, legendary weapons always losing to mythical, and the current meta forcing you to rely on a narrow set of guns instead of experimenting with the hundreds available.

We're aware of the weapon balance issues and share your concerns. We all want Pixel Gun 3D to be a competitive and fun shooter. That’s why we’re working on improving the current balance, equalizing all weapons based on time-to-kill, categories, types, rarity, and unique nuances and characteristics of particular guns. There are many changes, but they all aim to make the game fairer and more competitive.

We’ve done extensive internal testing, and now we’re ready to share the results of our work with you. We're preparing a global playtest where every pixelgunner can participate and share their thoughts on the new weapon balance.
