Oddly enough the workaround to this was just launching the game first from the config menu (if this was a "first time launch") after that close the game, then go to the config again make your changes and launch the game a 2nd time, and it did the trick. I honestly though it was just my computer lol.

I've never had an issue with this really the game seems to be running fine for me i have like 20 something hours in it now :P

Not sure if it was in this update or a previous update but the white box issue in bracer book while using high res and 1080 resolution has been fixed for me

Well I don't know what the last patch did but it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my game, as simple as that. I just can't start the game, I only have a series of error message saying "Folder not found: Returned -2147024894". THANKS

Nothing was done to folders in the last patch, have you not opened the game in some time?

I played it fine this morning. I had this error starting the first time the game when I bought it this week-end, but I started a new game and since then it has been working ultra fine. Now after patching I would like to continue my save, but all I have is this error message poping up again and again.

Open config and click the Save Folder button, what comes up?

And in the folder config.ini which reflects the change I could make with the config tool.

Hmm, there's a LOT of reasons that could occur. What I'd do is copy the save folder itself and archive it, then check the files to have the game set back to defaults and insert the save files back into the folder after you run the config again. There's a large number of reasons for that error to occur, anything from a config folder being moved without it being updated in the registry to permissions errors in certain folders and even username changes in Windows.

The tactical burn and rebuild strategy might just be the easiest and quickest way to fix that.

Note: I'm saying this because the folder you're identifying isn't the saved games folder. That's an old folder from an old structure and the steam version doesn't use it. It looks for your Saved Games folder in your user folder. The only reason that error should be popping up in this case is if you somehow moved your Saved Games folder or user folder out of the standard structure and never updated your registry.

I'm also thinking your game didn't actually patch for a while, was your Steam in offline mode or something? The changes to the saved games folder happened over a week ago.
