Single mom just doing her best, while baby goes on horrifying adventure. lol on the real, I really loved the way the story is told. Viewing the story from the perspective of a child, picking apart the imagery, and connecting the dots to get the full picture. Beautifully made! Would recommend to those looking for scary, but not terrifying. Theres also collectables, and we all love a little hidden something to find.

Among The Sleep is a kickstarter game that is not going to be for everyone. It's hardly a walking sim and there are ways to "die." The story is going to hit home for some folks and the subject matter might be tough if it's something that you can relate to. I rarely get emotional during a game, but the ending hit me very hard as it's something that I closely relate to. It's probably the first time a game ending evoked this emotion from me and caused me to cry. In my opinion, Among The Sleep is a necessary game and is less of a horror game and more of an analysis on broken homes, addiction, and childhood trauma. Among The Sleep has tugged at my heart strings and while it is a very short game, it's an experience that I think I needed to have. I would rate it an overall 4.5/5 and I would strongly recommend this game.
