Theres just no time to react to some of this stuff!!
Seriously the combat QTEs are the worst. Before i can react, the moment has gone. Many dialogue choices you arent given enough time to read all the options. Were the devs on crask??? The story seems great so far and very interesting, but this "if you cant react fast then f*** you" game design really lets it down.

They are called quick time events for a reason. You have to be quick.

I agree in dialogue options, however, but I think it was designed the way to replay the game multiple times so you can learn more about them, Plus you can always re-try chapters separately.

Wasn't there a way to halt or cancel the timed answers, so you could take your time? I think I read this somewhere a while back.

I played it briefly a long time ago, and stopped because of the timed answers (my nervous nature because of PTSD makes me dislike timed events very much).

Just installed it again now and wanted to give it a go, since I read a while back that you could cancel the timers, so I hope that was correct.

If so, how did we do that again, please? :rufussmile:

there's no way to turn off the timers, telltale doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about accessibility (no hold instead of tap during qte, can't skip anything, sparse checkpoints, etc.), but space pauses the game, works while dialog choices are up as well.
