I've seen a few streamers play the game and although it's not something I'd play myself I'm really impressed with the visual style. The outdoors, especially in daylight, really looks a lot like "reality as captured on a 90s video camera". In particular the ground cover (leaves, small plants, dirt, branches). Is it just the VHS filter effect that makes it convincing? Are there other games that look even more realistic?
