Nothing works on windows 11, better use 10.

I havent had any game not work on windows 11. this one is quite old tho thats why i was asking before i bought it

That is quite good news then! To answer your question, I do not know as I do not have windows 11. But you can just buy the game and refund it if not. I refund most games that I buy as I am very picky.

I don't mean to bring a post back from the DEAD (mwahaha), but if your OS is Windows 11, make sure to change the integrated graphics settings in the actual Windows 11 settings, too. It seems that just changing it in the Nvidia/AMD/Intel control panels doesn't always override the preset Windows 11 graphics management settings.

This applies to desktops, as well as laptops with iGPUs and dGPUs.

To do this:

1.) Open Windows 11 Settings (Should be a cog icon. If you can't find it, type "settings" in the Windows 10/11 search bar on Start Menu or Task Bar)

2.) Click 'System, click 'Display', then scroll down a bit until you see 'Related Settings'.

3.) Under related settings, click 'Graphics'. This should bring up a list of applications on your PC. Scroll down until you see 'The Typing of the Dead: Overkill'.

4.) Click the app, and you should see two options: 'Options' and 'Reset'. Click 'Options'.

5.) This will bring up a 'Graphics Preference' menu. Select 'Power Saving', then click 'Save'.

6.) Windows 11 will now force this game to run with your integrated graphics chip (if setting it to run with integrated graphics through NVIDIA/AMD/Intel panels didn't work before)

[Alternatively, you can also click the 'Search Bar' on the Windows 11 Taskbar/Start menu, type "Graphics Settings", click 'Graphics Settings' in the search results and it'll bring you directly to the list of apps to modify.]

Also, I figure I'd just post that guide if you were having issues getting it to launch on Windows 10/11! I know a lot of people have had some issues on 10, mostly Windows 11, though. The not launching issue seems to be tied with having a processor that has integrated graphics that handles what's on screen. Sorry if you didn't find this helpful haha

Didn't work at win 11 with default settings, after changing to integrated graphics as described above started to work. I hope integrated graphics can handle it...

it worked fine for me with windows 11. i dont think the os is what was causing your issue. must be something else
