Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II

Is the gameplay loop the same as Hellblade 1?
The title basically. I played the first one, i really enjoyed the story and the overall atmosphere of the game but didn't really like the gameplay. I love puzzle games, but the puzzles in this game are not really my type, Most of them don't really involve any logical thinking, rather then just - see this symbol and now just run around to find it in the world. Trying to match some tree branches and other things to progress is not my definition of a good puzzle. The combat was also very underwhelming to a point I was wondering why they put it in the game at all. I'm not here to criticize the first game, I just want to say what I liked and didn't like about it, and I want to find out if they made any changes for the second part,
I really liked the trailers and all the promotional material about the game, but that was also the case for the first one, and I had to really push myself to finish it.

Hellblade 2 has pretty much the same gameplay loop. It still has symbol puzzles, but adds different puzzle types which are more straightforward. Combat is more simple in this game since you only fight one enemy at a time.
