note: i play on gamepass, my steamdeck on windows constantly crash when playing, so it's a no go. while my 4070 laptop getting fatal error when launching, i have to update driver first to fix it, but i also had to reinstall 3-4 times!!! i also remove compress drive function on windows, maybe that helps too. now that's out of the way finally, my rants

GRAPHIC
it does look GOOD. yes it's only "GOOD". i also play on maxed, getting 40ish FPS, since it's not even 60, i had to use DLSS on performance + fps boost, now i get 70+ (idk how much but i capped it at 70, usually dips lower than 60 now and then). any clouds or smokes sometimes looks square when on close up, it happened both on my steamdeck and laptop. when i zoomed in on rock or stuff, it's not as sharp as i though either.

there's also small hair on character models, but i think that's a waste of resource! what's the point of having it anyway? i can't see it unless close up and no way i can see when in battle. all in all, a waste of graphical resource. maybe that's why the game so heavy, it add something for nothing

while the game looks pretty, it's only stones and trees. STONES and TREES. first game is more diverse and still looks pretty imho.

SOUNDS
it's actually GREAT, but i just don't like her constant "crazy voices". it's just distracting. i had my own crazy voices mind you. i just dont want a game constantly reminds me i had one myself

GAMEPLAY
she can RUN, but she only use brisk walking. this makes the game feels slow, also adding some playing hour because of how slow she is. i finished at almost 11 hours, should be able to shorten it IF she was actually running.

puzzle is fine, but kinda same-ish. when combined with her running speed it's quite a chore

battle is, whatever. same with the original i guess. i also play on easy. i just want's to end the game (my suffering)

STORY
now the good part, story is confusing imho! i though she's having a PTSD or broken mind from 1st game, but now her hallucination is real? i don't get it! i know there's an alternate narration, havent played it yet but i dont feel like it either, especially when the game is already a chore

and then there's the ending, like what?

CONCLUSION
i give it 6.5 including the pretty graphic. i did finish 100% on gamepass, but it's not engaging nor memorable enough, at least for me. just looking at % achievement completion on gamepass also tells something, only 18,5% finish it. of course i know it's not everything, but it tells stuff ok

it's not bad per se, i love a linear games, collecting collectibles and SHORT gameplay, this is the kind of game i want. but the high game requirement, constant crashing (before) and forgettable experience is just not for me imho. at least i finally got 100% lol
