You compare a game like God of War, an action game for kids, with a product that explains and tries to make people understand, show situations that really exist. Something much more complex than an action game and this type of product is not suitable for casuals.
Even more ridiculous is the OP who complains about the price and quality of the product but plays it on Gamepass, speculating, as modern PC gamers do, without money and without coherence.
I'm also waiting for the 50% discount.
Gears of War Ultimate and Gears of War 4 are the only other two games interesting on Game Pass and not available on steam. Canceled Game Pass after two days.
Uhhhhhh.....what?! God of War is an action game for kids? OK so you think the game didn't have any relatable storyline between artemus and Kratos in 2018? It's nearly a universal story line that is relatable across many cultures. It's also relatable when viewed as a kid growing up and as a father. From issues of aging and control, to making arguments of benefits having both paternal and maternal joint values and influence on the family unit is seen. Loss any way you cut it is universal cross culturally as well.
I just started playing the first Hellblade and I appreciate they had a therapist consulted for the game development being one myself. However I don't think just because a game may touch on mental health issues it equates to a more mature story line for adults.
If you think comparing value propositions is ridiculous, childlike, casual behaviour then I don't know what to tell you. I loved Hellblade 1 and it was priced very well for its level of content, this has not been out of the gate... but I am tempted by the discounted £40 price point. That would have been a more reasonable opening price in my eyes, better suited to overcome its more niche nature that you highlighted.
. I playedgears of war 4 on steam too . I had decided to get hell blade 2 on release date. But after i read all the reviews about how short it is and that it is has very litttle action like the first(which i played on rleease date in 2017) i decided to wait for discount on 2 at 50% or higher. Also 4 days ago on Friday i got EPIC MICKEY REBRUSHED. This means that even if the discount was 50 or higher i would had not got it now because i used my steam card of the month for Mickey Mouse.
