I've mixed feelings about this one. As a horror fan, I appreciate the storytelling and how well it's intertwined with Vietnamese culture and folklore, which I admittedly know very little about. The story unfolds little by little, as you progress through the game. An intricate story of which you only get the whole picture as you go on playing - much like some Asian horror movies unfold.

The gameplay, on the other hand, is quite familiar if you've played enough horror games. Find items, solve a few puzzles, deal with some enemies - as you do so, the story progresses and you get more pieces of the full story. It can get a bit tiresome at times. In particular, the part where you have to deal with the father several times.

To the devs: a 10s cut scene of you being stabbed might be excessive and annoying if you die a lot. Consider allowing to skip after you die one time. It's annoying as it is sneaking past the father.

In all, I've mixed feelings because I appreciate the story, while the game itself can be repetitive and a bit annoying.

so far it has a really promising story-telling going on, i like the story leading to it all until the latest chapter of the game. i wish it just focused on the family instead of the apartment building, so i'm hoping to get closure for Huyen in the continuing story.

overall a very good horror game, doesn't overuse jumpscares. the environment is very compelling and scary. the unfolding of the story is beautiful. i wish they'd tone down the difficulty a little and optimize the game more. the pole and string room was very confusing and too dark to see where to go and the last part in the blood rooms was so bad that it kept crashing the game. but other than that the puzzles are very good
