Report a translation problem
in general the game hasn't been tested yet on M1 Macs or more recent versions of macOS (as far as I know the only games that have been tested on M1 Macs are the ones that were either released or updated after the M1 Macs became available), so it is possible that there are some issues or even crashes.
But unless this scene uses functionality of the underlying engine, that wasn't used before in the game (and by that maybe something in the system that causes issues in more recent macOS versions/on M1 Macs), I think it is more likely that the issue is simply caused by an incorrectly downloaded game file. So it would be helpful if you could verify the integrity of the game files (right click on the game in your Library, select properties and in the properties window under "Local Files" click on "Verify integrity of game files").
