To modify framerate limit, open with notepad the file
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\In Verbis Virtus\UDKGame\Config\DefaultEngine.ini

Look for the section beginning with [Engine.Engine] and add at the end of the section a new line with:
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=150
(150 or any other max framerate you want)

Alternatively, you can use instead the line
bSmoothFrameRate=False
to disable frame rate smoothing, which is responsible of the fps cap.

I know this is late, but thanks so much. The line "bSmoothFrameRate=False" does not work, so any other suggestions for disabling frame rate smoothing?

Have you tried changing the value of MaxSmoothedFrameRate?

For whatever reason, just simply coping bSmoothFrameRate=False didnt do it the first few times. Changing it to bSmoothFrameRate=true and then back to bSmoothFrameRate=False for whatever reason did it.
