Trying out the chaos witch and I find myself having trouble getting past the 2nd new moon. If I do get past it, im cooked on the 3rd. Not sure what i am missing here, beside feeding her every swords I can get

Hi, people! I beat the game with the first witches and i'm at my last one (Chaos), just having some fun and trying to beat the final boss in one hit. I'm also trying to complete the compendium and I'm unable to find some cards. | played a game few times and got kinda far but always lose becuse i have only two familiars and i don't know how to get a familiar house they aren't in the spell shop and i didn't get them before the first waypoint spell. Am I missing something or is it a bug?...

I have discovered the third waypoint and have been there for maybe 10-15 in-game days. I'm exploring waypoints like crazy (40 familiars) but I'm not getting any events that I haven't already seen. I've done maybe seven (?) Fortune Tellers and no new ones are popping. I've researched all the spells available so potions are just giving me the "upgrade" like options. Its not clear what I'm supposed to be doing in order to get the fourth waypoint to pop or whatever the next story event is....
