Have you played Days Gone? That's a fav of mine that follows your timetable above and the narrative of wiping out the bottom end. Read my review of it if you want to play it the best way possible - don't just start a standard game.

Fallout 4 was great. Maybe I can find a mod to bring the graphics up to newer standard and give it another run. Aside from convenience have you any guides that outline the best mods to employ?

Burning shores is a frustrating environment with the buildings and fractured plates of land. The story is intriguing at the outset but just gets ridiculous.

1. a ridiculous parody of Elon Musk and his attempts to formulate a harem,
2. The earth killing rocket he could have easily avoided by cooperating with Aloy et al. and having Gaia build him a ship while he provides the tech to defend earth after he leaves. If people want to join him them let them.
3. Boss girls unite - the emo version of Aloy who's angry petulance becomes a foundation for love.... horrific story telling that one given the entire character history of Aloy. A necessary mention for the entire Quenn empire seemingly being gay yet managing to breed and survive. An extension of damn near every Tanakth warrior being female. The only males are dead rebels or "idiot men" being told off through most of FW and then into BS its even more pronounced.


The continued jabs at modern society were well played with characters like the CEO and their version of HR (Compliance) which they notably didn't do like real woke and awful HR but like the Soviet secret Police version of 1985.

And if the world looks like this in a thousand years, bravo.
Burning Shores tries to show us that it would take a human apocalypse, a terraforming system and 1000 years to make Los Angeles interesting and beautiful. Because most places of human habitation are anything but that. But the LA in Burning Shores is a big improvement over the LA that exists now, or has for the past 60 years.
I especially like the portrayals of other spots like Red Rocks Amphitheater (Zero Dawn Red Echoes) and Zion National Park (Forbidden West).

By the way, we've all been living under the threat of nuclear annihilation for 70 years now.

The problem of forecasts is that they deal with the future. A lot of prophets, among them founders of important religions, erred dramatically with there visions. And it's difficult to count how often the world already should have perished according to such people.

There are big problems today, no doubt, like climate change, an epiphenomenon of the globalization, which actually makes the people all over the world much richer, more healthy and pleased. Or political adventurers rearising who want to restore former glory with war. The one and only tool which kept peace the last 79 years between the big players, the nuclear bomb, can also destroy the world.

It's all advantages and disadvantages, and possibilities. The future is open.

2) The Ukrainians attacked their own people who felt closer to Russia. Those who got attacked asked Russia for help.
3) The US promised Russia that nato would get no inch closer to russians border if they give up East Germany. Which apparently was a lie.

Ergo, blaming Russian alone is too easy and not the whole picture.
