Can't save baby Bozo

So, I'm stuck. I've checked with every walkthrough I can find, and supposedly I have done everything but save baby Bozo. In video walkthroughs I have seen that this is triggered simply by talking to Barry, with Rufus saying he knows just the heroic deed BUT when I talk to Barry, he says there are too many heroic deeds to chose from, and that he needs to decide first.

In my inventory (middle Rufus) I have the Elysium picture, the tattoo inspiration sketch, the rope, the leftover soup and finger focus.
Inventory (left Rufus) has the baby phone - which he won't give away.
Inventory (right Rufus) has the tootbrush and Rufus' clothes - the Organon soldiers ar singing their song, and I cannot do anything with that Rufus.

Have I missed something, is there anything I should have had in my inventory?
All help is greatly appreciated, I'd love not having to start all over again.

you can try downloading a save game online just in case

Do you have a save game from a bit earlier? If not consider getting one online.

I guess you've done everything in this order right?

--> Go to Bozos house -> take the pot with roast sauce & mother milk -> give roast sauce & mother milk to Grünfus -> go to the rebel hideout and into the tank with Toni -> take the recipe from the wall -> go to the knitting store -> exchange recipe for a rope -> You have now everything to save Baby Bozo!

--> Go to Barry -> talk to him about the found topic -> Go with Barry to the crane -> combine the rope with the hook -> climb on the carrier (this HAS to fail so that Rufus can hang by the rope) -> after that you'll have a third Hero Photo for the therapist.

You should have saved Baby Bozo now. I'm sorry if the name for Grünfus is different in english but I've played it in German and don't really know the correct names in the English translation. ;)

so I was stuck too
for those who have done everything but didn't find baby bozo
go to to The rebel camp and use the focus fingers on the cranes in the background. You will see that a baby is crawling on them.
