"... we have no plans to shut down the The Crew® servers any time soon." But one day that will be done. We pay for game with limited timelife...This is not trial version.

Can't play The Crew 1 with my friends, I can never see them in game. Cardboard servers.
Hope it will change in The Crew 2.

Bad news given the fact that very likely 20-40% of the current players will not be able to run The Crew 2 because of its CPU requirements. Unless they make last minute changes all CPUs not supporting AVX - that means all CPUs prior to 2011 - will not be able to run the game.
