What ubisoft did is they restricted the steam verificiation on regarding if you own the game or not, and it falls back to a trial version,
The uplay situation is miles worse, because you can't even download the game files at all anymore, even for reasons such as a private server in the future if you want to get the files via legal means.
What I need you both to do is find your receipts/proof of purchases on this game, whether it's an email, or viewing your Steam purchase history, whatever. Screenshot it and hold onto it, because it might be needed.
I'd recommend you join the Discord server we've got (we're working on the offline patch and helping with Ross's SKG campaign). We MIGHT be able to help. They said in the server to DM @zomb1e5 if your license is getting revoked. I'm guessing he's trying to get as much information as possible and see how many people are being affected.

P.S: and I hoped people will still be able to get achievements they couldn't get in time :(
If someone want sell me a steam key (or gift copy) before all keys are revoking add me and send me offer.
I launched the crew from Steam, now Uplay ask me to add my cd-key for "The Crew", then use my cd-key from my Uplay account and Uplay launcher tell me I already have the product on my library but still cannot do anything about it.
Are you collecting mouse icons next to your user name in the crew forums? Since that's all you will be getting as you certainly cannot play this game anymore.
I just checked and my license has been revoked as well, Steam still shows that I have it but Uplay now rejects it.
I will be requesting a refund from Steam and they better comply, I don't care how many years its been since I bought the game this is insane of Ubisoft to do.
If the community releases an offline patch, it will be playable thanks to Steam and not Ubisoft.
