Map Editor Fail to Load

I'm having a bit of a problem testing my maps in the map editor. The level fails to load (gives an error) and it doesn't seem to matter which level. I've tried all the example maps and I've even reinstalled Hammerwatch twice, second time deleting the whole folder before reinstalling. Does anyone know the fix for this?

Additional information: It seems to be working fine on my desktop, but not my laptop. If anyone knows the fix, it would mean the world!

I have the same issue and I have no idea how to fix it. I was messing around with the editor and I remember that I had just tried to edit some monster files and put them in my map. Ever since when I try to boot a map from the editor it just gives me the same error "Failed to load".
