Everytime you start the game, difficulty reverts to Normal from Hard for me.

Not a big thing.. but yes, that is the first thing I missed also.

I just need to understand if it's a bug or whatever...

Hell yeah, subtitles are neccessary. Some characters speak with accent, and for non-english players understanding them can be a pain...

Subtitles and sound/music volume sliders.

Whenever I open up the Steam overlay and message someone, my chat box goes crazy. Repeatedly inputes the last key I did. Basically spams whoever I'm messaging. It's also not playing nice with Skype. http://i.imgur.com/pAZad0v.jpg

I've never had that little window pop up in any game when I go fullscreen.

when i type in the steam overlay when in game myyyyyyyyyy woooooorrrrdsssssssss ttyyyyyyyyyeppeeeeeeeeee likkkkkkkkkke thissssssssssss its really weird. ive had this problem in one other game but cant recall what one. edit: interestingly enough it also effects links i put into the chat as well.

2) Banner Saga steam trading cards are not dropping.

All the cutscenes are green for me, might be a codec problem or something I dunno. anyone else have this problem and fix it?

Try upgrading graphics driver, or yes codec.

Two issues I noticed while playing chapters 1 and 2:

1. In chapter 2 at the market in Skogr before we left town I spent 10 renown to buy a Whale??? item (can't remember the name) that gives me +2 armor break. But when I tried to equip it, I couldn't give it to any of my units. I was able to equip Triggvi's necklace and Alette's bracelet but not the item I had bought.

2. When leaving Skogr I decided to go with Iver's idea of distracting the Dredge. During the battle, several units were knocked out. When asked what to do about the caravn being stretched out I decided to camp because I was worried about my wounded units. But when I went to camp none of them were injured. I don't remember an entire day passing, so I'm surprised they had healed so quickly. Is there any way to tell how injured your units are when traveling? (before you decide to camp)

Yup subtitles for the voiceovers would be a blast :)

Steam Overlay: this is a known issue that we've badgered Valve about before. Unfortunately, it seems to have something to do with adobe AIR games on Steam. We're hoping they fix it soon.

Steam trading cards: Valve had not enabled them. They are fixing this as we speak.

The whalehook has a rank limit: your character has the be the same rank as the item to equip it. I believe this is the problem.
