Russia has already threatened NATO enough that Finland is gearing up for war and Sweden abandoned their neutrality to become NATO members last year.

As for China, there's a debate about whether or not TikTok should be banned in the U.S. because of national security not because of any culture wars. Because we willingly hand over our personal data to a foreign entity in a way that could allow them to essentially control minds or pinpoint our locations while China already bans all western social media so that it cannot be used to undermine their governance.

I don't want modern day politics and/or gender ideology lecturing in video games. Sadly, Western devs refuse to make games without injecting their worldview and/or inserting they/themselves into the game.

Be aware that they are cheering in spite of the gacha, not because of it.
It's obviously better to just buy a game up front and have all content right there, finished and accessible, and I needn't remind you that people didn't take kindly to Konami killing PT in favor of their pachislot business. Gambling needs to go the way of the dinosaur.
...But sadly, it's true, even gacha are better.
