Announcing the Winners of the Shadowrun Editor Community Contest!
Congratulations to the Winners and Runners Up of the Shadowrun Editor Community Contest!

We are excited to work with all of them! Watch for more information about a Google Hangout for the Props and Maps categories and Let's Play and Shadowlabs for the Short and Long Story categories. We can't wait to share all of that with everyone!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Contest! We will be announcing the winners of the Sweepstakes in the coming week or so.

I am familliar with some of these, but I feel compelled to reinforce the plug for Shadowrun Unlimited. It is my absolute favorite UGC thus far. If you dont have it, please do yourself a favor and get it.

Thanks RC--- you're a gentleman and a scholar. You're absolutely right about the talent involved in the contest; While I didn't do very well myself, I am glad to have been a part of it. I hope that more opportunities like this come up in the future to bring the community together. Cheers, chummers, and see you in the shadows.

Congrats to the winners. And while my personal opinion is that (so far) Nightmare Harvest has the much better "story" as a UGC, Unlimited does a fantastic job of reworking the system, and has all sorts of crazy potential, so it's not surprising that it got up to the top.
Really, ALL the UGC listed up there is proof-positive of the raw potential SR has.
(also, seriously, if you haven't tried Nightmare Harvest and Unlimited, do it. Like now. You're missing so much good stuff it's not funny.)

I would have added this under a thread more directly related to Steam but they are locked. However since some of the people here made or used some good mods they may want to be aware of this too.

Mac OS users on Steam may no longer be able to download-thus play-this game in just over 2 months.

So far it appears Steam announced they are no longer allowing downloads of this game because it is 32bit.

If it is actually 64bit compatible I would recommend updating how it is registered with Steam so that some people who have already bought it or may in the future don't lose the ability to in the future.
