In yet another feat of technical wizardry, Zen have managed to make a game that runs at 60 fps, but the ball movement and animation looks sluggish and delayed and looks like the ball is running at no more than 40 fps, somehow.

That in itself is a technological marvel.

Played Duke Nukem pinball for a little over 200 hours. It is a difficult to master table without learning precise flipping of the ball. Though, it's a must-have for any serious Duke afficionado. My fault with the table is in its progression from one mission to the next. If you don't start by shooting the 'D-A-M-N' lane, it makes it a lot harder to score big points. And some things, like the 'NEST' you have to hit 100 times to start one of the missions. Not easy to do when there are other missions tempting you. I DO thoroughly enjoy the challenge thinking 'one more game' and then keep playing. Gotta move up the leaderboard. Not bad for a 70-year-old.

If Sonic the Hedgehog and a 1980s arcade machine had a lovechild, it'd be Pinball M. A rollicking rollercoaster of a game, it outshines its pinball predecessors, yet lacks the depth of narrative-driven titles.

best quality so far, in pinball, I've tried a handful, this is most functional, best physics, audio, res, etc

Certainly worth getting, System shock is my favourite.. it would be good if they added an option to choose what monitor to output too for people with multi monitor setups
