Ive play this and the first one off and on for years. they just dont make rts games like they used to. these are classic games and i love them. a few history lessons if you play the story mode.

They say the days of RTS games are over, and they're right. I'm thankful that we've seen such gems as SC ,War3 and AoE in the last twenty years. They stayed with me throughout my youth, and finally we come to coh2, you don't need to have played through the previous one to get a feel for how epic this game is, with a simplified economic system, a collection of macro and micro strategies, and a little bit of RNG, you've got a masterpiece.
I wouldn't say it's a perfect game, there are real issues with balance, some ridiculous physics bugs, and the plot (yep fk the Rus), but relic isn't Blizzard either, and I'm content enough to have seen such a swan's elegy in the sunset era of RTS
As for coh3, good luck to them, RIP
