Hello everyone!

There are 3 unobtainable achievements in this game right now:

- Snore, Snore, Total Bore!
- Romeo is Dead!
- Romani Ite Domum

There is actually one more broken achievement, however, it that can be easily fixed with workshop mod.
All of those 3 above are about playing during special event on Valentine's day in 2015. As far as I know, this event (Make war, not love) takes place each year but these achievements can't be obtained since 2015.

Some people may think that this is not a big deal, but there's a big community of achievement hunters that aims to have shiny 100% in their profile. Unfortunately, this game is ruining chances of those that didn't manage to participate in the 2015 event, but what's much worse, those who bought the game after this event and got at least 1 achievement will never have a chance to get to 100% without even knowing.

I'm starting this topic to ask you, fellow players, for your support. Apparently, there are people who care about this and if you are one them, this is a message for you. Even though I have the game in my library, I'm not launching it just becasue i don't have a chance to beat it on 100% in its current state, but I want to make a change.

My suggestion for developers is to make these achievements date specific, but make them obtainable every year, like it's normally done with general events.

If you agree with this, please raise your voice and leave your message here. Even "+1" will count.

We (the community) already made a difference in another game - Red Orchestra 2. We started similar topic and within fairly short time gathered enough supporters to attract interest of developers and now it's finally possible to get 100% in that game again since September 2011! Сейчас в игре есть три невыполнимых достижения:

- Скукоти-и-ища!
- Ромео мертв!
- Romani Ite Domum

Есть еще одно сломанное, однако, оно чинится модом из воркшопа, так что это небольшая проблема.

Все три указанные достижения можно было получить на День св. Валентина в 2015 году. Насколько я знаю, сам ивент (Занимайтесь войной, а не любовью) проводится каждый год, но эти достижения так и нельзя получить с 2015 года.

Кто-то может подумать, что это небольшая проблема, но в Стиме есть большое количество любителей достижений, которые нацелены на получение 100% в каждой игре. К сожалению, эта игра сводит на "нет" такие попытки для тех людей, которые пропустили ивент 2015 года. Еще хуже тем, кто купил игру после 2015 и получил хотя бы одно достижение - у них теперь нет шанса увидеть заветные 100% в своем профайле.

Unfortunately our team does not have the resources to retroactively fix these achievements. We know this is frustrating, especially for those players that love to 100% all their games. For all of our future titles, including Company of Heroes 3, we are ensuring achievements are not locked behind limited time modes.

well i can support this, but i know other games that thave achievement like this, never optainable again, so i think it wont be fixed

I think that every achievement should be obtainable. There is a community of people who devote themselves to finish the games they love 100% and I think the developers should listen to these players because for them, 100% achievable achievements is a factor when buying a game or rating it. I myself am included in this group. We already made a change in Red Orchestra 2, calling out for the devs who ultimately decided to give the last achievement (unobtainable) to the players who manage to achieve all other achievements except that last one.

I am with you - players and achievement hunters - in this cause. I think that these 3 achievements should be achievable if the player gets all other achievements.

To be honest, we have no rights towards the games, that we choose to buy and play. With that being said, I think our chances is poor in getting the developers to listen to us. Some developers like Tripwire or OVERKILL tend to listen and show their loyal support towards their community. The opposite can be said about Paradox, where I recently found out they closed two of their multiplayer games War of the Roses and War of the Vikings. They didn't even leave the opportunity to host a server, both games were just shut down. But anyway, I hope the devs here tend to do something about it, so +1 from me
