I've played this game at release for a few years and just started again with a friend of mine. We have always done Evil characters because it felt better to take the cities you need and migrate to the correct race asap. However, I can't seem to find anyone who thinks evil is better. So how do you even play Good or Neutral characters without it being worse? How do you mitigate the downside of having different races in each city which dilutes your core strategy? And what about having to wait several turns b...

I currently own 3 but never played it too much. Is it better now to jump straight into 4 or wait for a better sale and more updates?

I want to make a hero mod that can work with the base version of Empire Building Mod, and not the reduced version, but I'm new to making mods so I don't know what extra I would need to do beyond following the manual.

I'd really like to know what is the strategy/tactics of dealing with AI spamming ridiculous amounts of tier IV (nearly invincible) units? Made a random map, one enemy *Baldir the bald* is utterly unstoppable with spamming tier IV Dwarf Manticore Riders. He is at war simultaneously with all the other AI factions on the map (and me) and is literally steamrolling over everyone. He grabbed 80% of the empire quests by around turn 60 and has made a ridiculous number of the Manticore Riders that have no weaknes...
