I want to enjoy this game, because dog is cute, artstyle is cute, and it seems interesting, but i cant get past the fox battle, what am i doing wrong

I'm bit at loss for what to do for Beep Beep have Fred say Beep Beep and the secret achievement Lets Go , I've got every other achievement but not these two. Any hints/advice?

On my second playthrough (just trying various things to find secret achievement that I haven't gotten yet) and it looks like it bugged out on me and I couldn't increase my Speed, Light LP or Critical stat. Image In first playthrough I was able to cap them without issues (I did cap my speed stat before first boss fight, crit/light LP over time with XP grinding), but I can't this playthrough. The game shows no achievements when I sort by completion. Is it a steam problem? if yes is there a way to fix it
