"Sim Companies" is a nasty cash shop infested mobile app that's been dumped on Steam to try scam PC gamers the same way the mobile app devs scam mobile peasants. This is not okay.

This looks like a simple business simulator where you tap away at your iPhone (my gaming rig is not an iPhone, but that's the least of the problems here) and quickly run into paywall scams as the devs demand your credit card details so you can give them all your money to keep playing this garbage mobile app.

There's hundreds of awesome PC centric tycoon games on Steam... get one of those instead of this trash.

This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that.

You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me.

This isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this.

Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it?

Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

A lot of business options to choose from, production and retail.
Open market environment, you can list your products on the market or build business partnership with other players.
A very challenging game, you have to do the math in running your business in order to be successful. There is no universal recipe, you can grow with any kind of business you choose. The interesting part is, how fast you grow.

Great game, I produce crops, cows, and slaughter them for steak, then sell the steak. my company is worth nearly 1 million just from that.

Much company, many wow.

This is a very good game it takes lots of time but its a great business running game.
