Patch Notes 0.18.1

General

• Added cosmetics to the Shop
  
• Added an option in the inventory to open up to 10 chests at once
  
• It is now possible to sell Treasure Chests through Quick Sell
  
• The blacksmith is now able to reforge equipment. Reforging an item will reroll the stats of the item

Balancing

• Reduced the duration of the Guardian Knight Skill 'Guard' from 15 to 10 seconds
  
• Reduced the attack speed of the Guardian Knight
  
• Thorn Shield now causes scaling magic damage instead of a reflection of the damage taken
  
• Combined Flurry now affects all Companions instead of just the first one
  
• The artifacts 'Critical Edge' and 'Extended Strength' now drop in world tier 9-10 instead of 5-8

Bugfixes

• Fixed an issue where the companion damage was sometimes not updated correctly when applying buffs
  
• Fixed an issue where the achievements would show notifications even if they were already claimed
  
• Fixed an issue where Concentrated Mana did not increase the Intelligence correctly

It is long overdue for another update! As we mentioned in our last announcement, we've been working hard on a new update for Clicker Guardians. We are excited to announce that this update will go live on Friday, August 8, 2024, at 12:00 PM (CEST)!

We have some exciting news to share with you. As you may have noticed, we have parted ways with our publisher, Gameforge. This was a difficult decision that we did not take lightly. We believe that this step will give us more freedom and flexibility to develop our game according to your wishes.

Due to the server relocation, the game was down for several days. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. The servers are now live again!

With this update, we are introducing quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.
The highly requested Auto-Play feature is now available for Key Stages, this should make it a little less tedious to use up your keys.
We might add more customization options to the Auto-Play feature in the future, but for now, we hope you enjoy the new improvements.

First of all, we want to thank everyone for playing Clicker Guardians and for all the feedback we received so far. We are working hard to improve the game to your liking.
We understand that the last patch was not as well received as we hoped it would be. With this patch we want to address some general issues.
Going forward we will address some balance issues with some of the builds. We want to increase the viablity of all builds and are working on a solution to make this happen.

General

• Adjusted damage number positioning to improve distinction between the different damage types
  
• Improved anti-cheat detection
  
• Reduced the gold cost of companion upgrades
  
• Increased the companion damage gained from vitality
  
• Increased the magic damage gained from intelligence
  
• Increased the auto-attack-damage gained from dexterity
  
• Slightly increased material drop amounts
  
• In-App-Purchases now always display the USD ($) currency symbol to avoid misleading pricing

Skill Changes

• Added a 5 second cooldown to Evocation
  
• Increased the cooldown of Lightning Strikes by 30 seconds
  
• Absolute Damage
  
• Absolute Damage is a new damage type which is not affected by any damage modifiers like (Critical Damage, Damage Multiplier, etc.)
  
• Lghtning Strikes now deal absolute damage based of the targets current health
  
• Weakness now deal absolute damage based of the targets current health
  
• Added an additional effect to teamwork (Effect: Whenever you defeat an enemy, the effect increases by an additional 5% for 10 Seconds (Can be stacked up to 20 times))
  
• Flurry and Rampage now scale with click damage
  
• Increased the shield percentage of the companion skill Guard to 10% per rank

Gameplay

• The last section of the mine stage is now auto-repeatable

UI

• Added auto-advance and auto-replay buttons to the action bar

  • [Developer Note]: This bug resulted in unintended high damage outputs in certain scenarios. Due to this fix, you may notice a decrease in the damage dealt by your character. We understand that such changes can impact your gameplay experience, and we want to assure you that this decision was made to maintain game balance and integrity. To compensate for this adjustment, we have increased the stat scaling gained from attribute points. Despite the increased stat scaling, players might still experience a reduction in damage output compared to the levels before the update. We want to be transparent about this change and acknowledge that it may require some adjustment in your gameplay strategy.
