Exactly one year ago, we released a Halloween-themed game demo.
Well, we decided that this tradition is worth keeping, and now we present you with a big autumn update!

It includes new quests, unique costumes for the witch, achievements, animated cutscenes, and even an intro. Many of these additions were inspired by player feedback, activities, and even contests. Need we say how grateful the The Witch's Cauldron team is to everyone who has supported us with advice, game purchases, and comments? So spend a little more time with our witch, explore where cooking and revenge can lead, find out what a succubus's love costs, and try to survive with limited ingredients or without hints from the book. The night will be long and dark—better stay close to the warm cauldron!

What’s included in the update:

• New characters with unique quests;

• Witch outfits, both selected from creative contests and made by us;
  
• New game modes that can be activated by choosing specific outfits;

And... this witch's story comes to an end. We’re not planning any more major updates, except possibly some cosmetic changes or a few archival quests. We're moving on to a new game—a sequel, if you will. In it, we aim to use all our accumulated knowledge and skills to make a game that’s even more vibrant, engaging, bigger, and deeper. So keep an eye on our social media—updates won’t be far behind.

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since we last checked in, but we’ve got plenty to share.

As you may have noticed, for those who achieved 100% completion in Steam, the game is no longer listed as perfect. This happened because we’re preparing a big free update, which will include new quests, skins for the witch, an opening cutscene, cloud saves, and, of course, achievements.
It’s expected to be released around Halloween, so you can spend a spooky night in good witch company and unlock those new achievements.

The flame's still hot under our pot and a new update is a-brewing! Some technical stuff, as usual, but there's plenty of new content, too. Remember the art contest? The outfits inspired by the winning works will be added to the wardrobe. Also included:

- cloud saves
- succubus story arc
- a hapless hunter asking for your help and maybe helping you in return
- some special outfits that can be bought with gold
- unique quests tied to some of the outfits which will influence your reputation with game factions; other outfits will affect game mechanics

- a food and drink related story arc which will let you use the culinary chapter of your grimoire to leave a mark on the realm
- new characters and minor quests

- new achievements

- Drawing an intro video for the game!

Includes:

• major background update to support all sorts of displays, wide and square alike!

Three months have passed since the release of The Witch's Cauldron and we are hard at work on the next expansion. After analyzing your feedback and our own ideas we've decided on the following changes and additions:

New costumes, of course. Our recent art competition was a great help in that regard. We've received a lot of original and funny designs and it was hard to pick the best. Anyway, the players will receive a veritable collection of hats and gowns with the update!

Adding on to that, the costumes will provide gameplay effects. Their unique features will affect the game balance or even the ability to access plot branches

And we're adding a wardrobe! It's bigger on the inside

We're not forgetting the technical stuff either, working on cloud saves, Steam Deck optimization and controller support, as well as adding new supported resolutions.

We're updating and expanding questlines, adding new uses for your potions and colorful new characters. There's even a frustrated succubus asking for your help.

We don’t forget about completely new storylines: you will meet new characters, and it’s up to you, as always, to help them or harm them.

Cauldron 1.6 patch notes:

• The True Power ending fix, made the ending easier to unlock.
  
• Fixed ending map icons and animation.
  
• Some updates to Experiments tab - now the sets are clickable.
  
• Fixed experiments data not cleared on Reset Progress.
  
• Some storyline distribution across rounds (for those who are tired of the vampire storyline).
  
• You can now pick the default skin and make the witch jump at any time.
  
• Fixed music stopping in the menu.
  
• Some art and character updates.

We at Harvey Games are happy to announce an art competition!

If you played The Witch's Cauldron you might've already thought "Man, I wish my witch could wear something else beside these purple rags. And how come there is only one hat?!?" Well, you're in luck, because that's what the competition is all about - new outfits for our main character.

Your imagination is the limit - we will gladly take the boring technical part on ourselves. Draw whatever you want, to the best of your ability. Add background to your liking or make the most detailed piece ever, it's all up to you. Deadline is March 24th. Works can be sent to the Drawing Competition channel on our Discord[discord.gg].

Three outfits of our choosing will be added to the game and their authors' names to the game credits. Winners will also get a free copy of The Witch's Cauldron each and we'll praise them to high heavens on our socials.
