Hey Delicate Kitten,

Great question. Crosshair V2 is meant as a free alternative to Crosshair X. Crosshair V2 is simple, basic and free. If you want more stuff like projectile drop crosshairs, firing animations, fullscreen usability etc. Crosshair X is the way to go.
