This is another of the so many reasons I never buy a game from a 2nd party! None of these issues happen. It is your responsibility to keep this info, Not the services. They will show no pity.

Hey GR fans, I have been trouble shooting the "won't launch" problem, and can share what works for my setup.
Browse to the local files in the Steam folder where ever you have it.
On the two files "GRB_vulkan.exe" and the "GRB.exe" both so your choice will work for either one on launch of the game.
Separately Right click for properties and on the compatibility tab using the "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 7
Use the "Change high DPI settings button, Check the "Override high DPI scaling behavior. box and choose "Application" click OK.
These steps fixed the problem and allowed the UBI connect app to open and provided seamless addition to the UBI account, the this will bind to your UBI account box popped right up and am now off the the GRB game running,
These steps have worked for my setup and I hope they will add value to the community .

Problem solved, I was able to contact UBISOFT support and they gave me two options you can transfer and you can recover you old account.
You can transfer the games and all DLC to one account but you will lose all progress for those games.
If you want to recover your old account like in my case they will ask you to give them an email that is not linked to any UBISOFT game and just like that you get your old account back with a new email attached to it of course.
So basically I have two UBISOFT profiles, to change profiles all you have to do is log out and then log back in with the other one.
