The Day Before was literally the most wishlisted game on steam and the premise was just The Division with zombies... Looks like a missed opportunity.

I could see a game combining the two working. But I wouldn't want it in this series mainly because the net code of zombies in general they would likely be buggy and would they attack anything or only certain enemies like you the player for example. Leaves a lot to not touch

I could see something like this being 'workable', but it would have to be as some kind of sub-mode. Maybe attached to the Descent, since that is already setup as 'training sim' lore-wise. I'd think it'd work best as a horde mode/firefight type mode, not a general world event.

How will dead flesh take damage from most agent skills? (engineering skills, chemistry)
Why turn the game into a regular training ground where you just move the cursor and press one button? If you have a hard time playing with enemies who shoot at you, find another game.

so like i know we all like this game and its pretty great with what it already is, but like what if there were zombies in the game? like days gone zombies? or dead island zombies?

what I don't get about people are are obessed with zombies, is why do these people feel the need to make everygame about zombies? There's probably 3 dozen zombie games these folks can go play, but they someone want to ruin one of the greatest elements of this game's lore; the fact they're are not any zombies.

Yeah, no more new games about killing just nazees. Zombie nazees, nazees zombies, mutants nazees, nazees muntants and so on.

Try this one if you want a 3rd person zombie game with some looting element.
It's moddable, and can multiplayer. And a bunch of annoying hoops to jump through. (much like this season's seasonal journey)

Probably because like vampires zombies are in every culture. And due to certain movies coming out to bring attention to the zombie lore we've had an uptick in zombie interest. I think you should also consider the idea do you have anything you are dead set on like maybe you would like a game to take a direction devs havent taken because you feel it would be fun or realistic etc? Kinda of the same reason about the zombies with a lot of people. And personally I don't see a reason to add zombies to the game mostly the game is a mess anyways but I also wouldn't really care to see a character being added to the game or story because they're part of a certain group which we have seen a lot of now days.

If you have an issue with the zombies thing please have an issue with everything that shouldn't be added into a game and such.

I can see a story line going into some neural link type tech gone astray with hacking.
An entire community hacked over to the "OTHER" side of the war.

The npc begging you to kill and or stop them before they walk into area A with a bomb.
