With Patch v0.5.43, we're proud to introduce a suite of updates that not only enhance the quality of life for our survivors but also aim to foster a more immersive and balanced experience. Here's what we've been working on to make your journey through the wasteland even better:

• Safe Zones are here! If you’re seeking respite from the chaos, these areas now offer a haven where PvP combat is off-limits.

• Attacking or killing another player in a Safe Zone will make you WANTED by all factions, reducing your reputation and marking you for retribution.

• Beyond the Safe Zones? It’s no-man’s-land. The rest of the wasteland remains a battleground for those who dare.
• Future Plans: We’re laying the groundwork for more options, like a full PvE mode where the entire wasteland could behave as a Safe Zone. Stay tuned!

• Venturing into dangerous territory without enough reputation? You’ll now see a Restricted Area warning on your map. Navigate wisely!

Get ready to elevate (literally) your base-building game!

• Unlock entirely new possibilities for base design.
• Build sophisticated multi-level bases with ease.
• Finally, drive your vehicles to the upper floors of your stronghold!

With these new ramps, your bases can be as intricate and imaginative as you want them to be—rivaling even the most fortified outposts in the wasteland. Whether you're constructing a towering fortress, a hidden hillside sanctuary, or a bustling player hub, these ramps will help you bring your wildest ideas to life.

• Right-Click to Add All Items: Quickly fill blueprints with available materials using a single right-click.
• Hold Left Shift to Bypass Snapping: Fine-tune blueprint placement.
• Q and E for Elevation: Adjust foundation height for that perfect build.

• Trader specializations are now displayed above their names—so you’ll always know who you’re looking for.
• Your current reputation with factions is now visible under the faction logo on traders’ avatars.

• Ron’s quest chain has been updated to help players orient themselves better.
• Frank’s quests now conclude with a Return to Camp, offering clearer guidance for new players.

• Refreshed Vehicle Models: Slipster, Luxer, and Distanceater look sharper than ever.

• Updated Icons: Several item and cargo request icons have been refreshed.

• Fixed an issue where rush-clicking on trade/transfer items caused them to disappear.
• Resolved a bug where players could be attacked by TOS and OGD traders in towns. Traders should be allies, not adversaries!
• Improved the fist attack range, so now you can successfully fight an Apocahorn with your bare hands (if you're feeling brave).

• Bulk Trade Limit Increased: The maximum limit for bulk trade is now set to 999, making large transactions easier.
• Hide All Quests Shortcut: Use Shift+N to declutter your screen and focus on the adventure ahead.

With Faction & Reputations Update v0.5.42, we’re adding a fresh layer of depth to your survival journey. This update is packed with enhancements designed to make your time in the wasteland richer, more immersive, and more rewarding. But that’s not all—our never-ending mission to improve quality of life means smoother systems and easier gameplay for everyone.

So, grab your gear, because here’s what’s waiting for you in the wasteland:

• New Reputation System: The old Loyalty prototype has evolved into a fully-fledged system, bringing dynamic faction relationships to life.

• Reputation Journal: Track your standing with each faction in the brand-new Journal section—see how your actions shape your alliances.

• Repeatable Reputation Quests: Work with faction Expedition Leaders to build your reputation and get access to faction outposts.
• Faction Outpost Access: Outposts are now hostile until you reach MEMBER reputation, adding a new challenge to faction progression.

• Neutral Factions Update: The TLWG has been reborn as the Dustborns, a fitting name for these tenacious survivors.

• OGD Terminals: Now live at Repeaters, expanding their functionality.

• TOS Reputation Traders: Have been spotted at Repeaters and wasteland shacks. Keep your eyes peeled for these elusive merchants!

• Inventory Shortcuts:
  • Shift + LMB: Works just like double-click for faster item management.
  • Ctrl + LMB: Drops items directly from your inventory to the ground.
• Crafting Streamlined: One-click options to add items to Blueprints and Vehicle Upgrades save you time and effort.

• Enhanced 3D models of mini-repeaters, giving faction expedition spawn points a fresh look.
