So I set display mode to fullscreen exclusive and refresh rate to 60 Hz, coz I don’t need more in a single player game. The game actually runs in 60 FPS, but the Steam FPS counter displays much higher numbers like ~200. In most games, limiting refresh rate automatically limits frame generation so that my PC doesn’t consume more power than needed. Seems not to be the case here. How do I fix it?
