Steam for Linux

[Feature Request] Allow transparent background in pinned in-game browser
This might solve the problem of Discord overlay, for example. By using Discord Streamkit, we can generate a URL, access on Steam browser, and pin it, very similar on how it works with OBS.

However, unlike OBS, Steam won't let the window background to be transparent.

I took a few screenshots to explain the problem.

When pinned:

Please allow the window background to be transparent! It will help a lot.

* I decided to post this in the Linux session because I believe it will be more useful to us, but in fact this is platform independent.

Edit: I opened an issue for this request.

post it on Valve's steam-for-linux github issue tracker (check for similar requests first):
https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues

that's where their devs look, wereas this is a users forum they don't monitor regularly

do post here later with the link so others may chime in with suggestions to improve the request
