Steam for Linux

Steam for Linux

Games played through Proton not working after Nividia driver update
I'm using Debian Sid, on a laptop, with kernel 5.19, and an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 Mobile.

There was a recent update to the NVIDIA drivers, to 510.85.02. Since that update, none of the games that I play through Proton are working. I click Play, it appears to be starting, but no window appears. After about a minute, Steam stops indicating the game is running.

These are games that were working fine a week ago. They include No Man's Sky, Dishonored, Helldivers, and Hardspace: Shipbreaker.

Native Linux games, launched through Steam, are working fine.

I tried launching Steam in a terminal, and I saw no errors or warnings when I tried launching the games that failed to start.
