Slow download speed
Hello i installed a linux pop os and my download speed is from 1MB to max 10MB before on windows 11 i have around 30MB to 45MB and idk why i tried reinstalling steam do some stuff in settings and nothing i tried also to change some stuff in steam_dev.cfg and nothing please help me to fix that i tried to change disk format NTFS EXT4 and same nothing i changed the download region and nothing

Idk it would help on Pop!, but on Arch this was helpful for me:

Try with dnsmasq and again with steam_dev.cfg

tysm i downloaded dnsmasq configured that and after that i have normal download speed

Apparently everyone on Linux is getting slow download speeds.

valve's crappy coding at work once more.

Seen various solutions posted in the forum here. Perhaps someone should bundle all the solutions and write a guide on it?

Good point, but unfortunately many issues and solutions depends on distro/configuration. Writing a guide would take some time
