Steam for Linux

Shader cache is downloaded frequently
This is fine?
During the day, the shader cache for games (for example RDR2) can be downloaded several times. And every time before launching the game, it is recompiled (although this step can be skipped). Why is this happening? Is this a problem with my client or with Steam Linux in general?
It's not that I'm going to somehow solve this problem, but I'm just wondering why this is happening.

If it's important, here's my OS:
Linux Mint 21.3 with latest updates

I turned shader pre-caching off, as it seems to be bugged and downloading full caches every time I started steam instead of just verifying and updating. If your hardware is fairly recent (last 5 years) the pre-caching isn't as necessary, your system will create it's own cache files specific to your hardware.

It also seemed to me that Steam was loading it by mistake, because... my system often recreates it on its own.
