I just went down the rabbit hole last night of looking for new “vanilla” servers. JFC…..something of these things have “vanilla” in the name and are running 50+ mods….😒

Vanilla server.
has nearly 100gb of mods. Yup very vanilla.
It's painful isn't it.
I'd like to think the one we have is as close as to vanilla with some that do just improve the base QoL.

Luckily, none of you get to decide what vanilla+ should look like. Instead of complaining, why not address the issue with BI and ask them to add some useful filters to the "launcher"? They already came up with this revolutionary idea on how to remove fakes from the official tab. While they're on a winning streak, now would be the perfect time to request another nearly impossible feature: a mod filter.

For me the worst is when i join a vanilla+ server and they give you food, water and a knife from the get go, that is so not the vanilla experience in any way shape or form.

Try the sgt pepper servers in aus, there's a bunch of really good maps some hardcore and only a few qol mods... Might just be what your after
