How did this go from what Quake 1/2 was to this, whatever it is? What went wrong?

Quake 4 is a classic. id please do the remaster treatment like you did with Quake and Quake II. Respond by putting a +1 if you agree!

As the title says, show this game some love like you're doing to the first two games. I don't care what anyone says, Quake 4 was a pretty solid game, it was like an evolved version of Doom 3.

i dont understand how to deal with different enemy types, it seems like all you have to do is shoot them, wich is fine, but what i dont get is if there is no "counter for enemy type" mechanic, why the hell do the arm blade guys just run to you and one hit kill you with no option for you exept to get lucky or have "movement" but you cant do much but run away while shooting, or try doing weird jumps or idk, they just spawn, run to you, ohk you, this is stupid...

If you have time and maybe some development experience, I would be very happy if you could help me develop my mod. The mod is actually already finished, but it still causes problems that are difficult for me to fix on my own. For example, it 'works on my machine' but crashes on other testers. So if anyone is interested, please just let me know....
