Game won't launch
game doesn't launch, soft locks my PC. Steam refused my refund request. the game used to work. I want my $2 back.

idk if this is too late but to fix this problem when you click play you should have a window pop up with options to either launch or configure. choose configure and set those settings to what your setup is now and what not. it had my old hardware registered on there. plays perfectly for me. you're welcome :steamhappy:

So i did the config and just turned full screen off. loaded fine in windowed mode

Try just changing the configuration settings to not play in Full Screen. Worked for me even on my 4K monitor. Hopefully this helps.

Another thread recommended going to the .exe for the game, right click, preferences, compatibility, and setting it to run in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. That fixed it for me trying to run it on Windows 11.

~Zombie_Driver_HD\bin\ZombieDriverHD.exe
Right Click - Properties (Alt+Enter)
Compatibility Tab
Compatibility Mode - Windows XP (Service Pack 3)

I noticed it was running in 32bit mode when I had to close it from the Task Manager.
