Interior worlds was sodaraptors next major release after Hypnagogia Boundless Dreams. Amazingly (for lack of better words) Interior Worlds doesn't differ to much from Hypnagogia's similar premise of weirdly familiar liminal environments. The areas I explored in this game gave me a similar feeling to those in Hypnagogia. Though, of course, these are a bit more desolate. Basically liminal worlds is if you took the more horror themed worlds of Hypnagogia and made an entire game based of their premise (hell, you even explore one of the same worlds in this game!)

Interior Worlds explores the desire to enter areas that evoke a certain sense of otherworldlyness in you. I'm certain that most people are familiar with this feeling, seeing as the word liminal has become a common phrase nowadays.

In Interior worlds you are a photographer who ventures through different liminal spaces, taking photographs of the spirits that take residence in them. Whether or not you are giving them peace is rather vague, nonetheless you capture their ethereal presence with your vintage camera with glee.

In Interior Worlds you can't help but feel like there's a presence surrounding you. You can't help but look behind you, tempting the chance that there may be something behind you. There's always a sense of unease exploring these once lively areas. You can't help but feel as if you may be disturbing some sort of peace, angering the spirits that lay within.

Ambiently creepy visuals, ps1 inspired graphics, and puzzling locations to explore. What's not to love?
