can you elaborate this please a little bit?
That's not how this works.
At all.
Because no one does that for a game as old as Path of Exile.
LOL.
If you mean the new one, they're not paid unless they had "Sponsored." in the title.
Because it's literally against the law to not make it known you're being sponsored by a company.
Like, it's literally a federal crime if someone on Youtube doesn't properly make it obvious their review is paid advertisement via a Sponsored tag.
That's not a joke.
IT's a FTC ruling. IIRC, one of those.
Remember, PoE2 came out a few days ago.
It makes sense that a lot of people are playing it.
All over Twitch, Youtube, and every other streaming platform I Bet.
I'm sure somebody on the Hub streamed it. :P
If GD ever released early to "content creators" for the sake of advertising I would quickly walk away as I did with Factorio.
Well, keep in mind, that type of stuff has to be publicly revealed.
Can't break federal laws.
So, I don't think you're actually finding too much evidence anywhere that tons of people are being paid with free copies or what not.
Every game ever thats popular and most the community enjoys, is obviously only like that cuz of paid youtubers. Havnt you learned this yet :^)
LOL.
That is what it seems like.
I have a hard time imagining 100s, if not thousands of people are going to go and break federal laws by the only government branch people are actually scared of. :P
The FTC.
THe FBI, they're adorable. Let's just put it that way, when compared to the Federal Trade Commission.
Just let people think what they want of a game based off of false notions. Ill keep thinking a game is good If I like it, and if its popular and I dont like the game. I'll admit the game just isnt for me, but still is likely good. Letting small things like a youtuber getting a copy for free, stopping me from enjoying a game would make my life miserable.
I dont like paid skins in a paid game (this game has paid skins), but I still wanna play this game because its good as hell kek.
Yep. Exactly.
Well said.
Thing is, secretly my favourite ARPG is Grim Dawn but I never bring that up because people start slagging you of.
For me Grim Dawn owns D4 and POE. For me personally it just does.
