I own a Vive and recently gave this a shot in VR. While I haven't gotten any crashes with what little I played I have noticed a couple of quirks and I'd like to know if I'm not going bonkers or if the options really are absent.

1: Are there any options to allow turning with the Vive's own controllers? Snapping by 45 degree segments is fine, I just don't want to physically want to turn as I'm playing sitting and it's rather inconvenient given the Vive's cable situation and well...turning while sitting.

It's especially odd as I see conflicting comments about it both existing and not existing. Mentions of face buttons to change direction but the Vive wands have no face buttons, just (awful) trackpads.

2: Are there any sitting mode options or a height offset so the game at least pretends that I'm standing up? I am aware third party tools exist with this matter but I'd much prefer using the game's own options if any are available.


I am aware that there are multiple mods available but from what I've seen the mods require mods that themselves require other mods. The game is already unstable as is, slapping more mods on top is just asking for trouble.
