The first thing you notice about Coin Pusher Casino are that the graphics are amazingly realistic. Then you notice the music which is very cool. Unfortunately, then you start to think that this is a very boring game where you just have to push coins off a ledge. That is partially true but there is a steady progression of working up bigger and bigger scores. The bonus items you can earn on each level include casino chips, gold and silver bars, collectable items, rolls of paper money and treasure chests. There are also numerous power-up tokens. Collecting these items becomes compulsive. Even when you've run out of coins, you keep hoping to nudge the table and get something to drop.

The basic premise of the game is to exceed the buy-in cost for each level. That enables you to progress to the next level. Of the game modes, Zen is most relaxing because it has no time limit. The more challenging mode is Classic, where you have a strict time limit. Finally there is Arcade mode which is incredibly frustrating at first but eventually you figure out how to overcome it using various perks and power-ups so that you can keep achieving jackpots within the time limit and so get a bigger payout.

The first arcade mode is a wheel of fortune with a built in dice game. The second arcade mode is a fruit machine / one armed bandit. Other than sheer luck, success in the arcade modes involves collecting 500 coins and then trading them in for a buy-in continuation. In and of itself, that becomes very addictive. I can attest to it being so after playing for nearly 50 hours. To begin with I thought this was going to be a game that got about 1 hour of my life in total (just a bit of nostalgia for old-fashioned amusement arcade games). How wrong can you be ?

I recently got more into arcade games or simulations and specialy the coin pushers were alot of fun.
So i searched for more and found this hidden gem which is focused on offering different coin pushers.
On top of it there is a whole meta progression (gameplay and cosmetics) and the graphics are pretty good for what it is.
It simulates coin pushers well and seems to offer alot of content with better and better scenarios and different game modes.

I did get stuck on some levels and thought its an issue with balancing but then i learned that there is actualy some strategy to this type of arcades!
Using certain tactics to maximize how much you can push forward with the coins you have is necessary to progress and when it works - its satisfying!

This game's advertising material looks like a trashy advertisement for an online casino, it has at least one music track with bizarre religious spoken-word nonsense, and it's got crypto cosmetics in some of the coin skins.

And yet, somehow, it manages to be an incredibly fun game.

There's no actual crypto nonsense with this game, no mtx, no actual gambling advertisements, and no other religious bs outside of that music track. It's a shame that the presentation detracts so hard from how much fun the game actually is, because damn was I hooked on this game.

Zen mode is my favorite, both because I just prefer not having to worry about a time limit and because it's an easy way to accumulate plenty of funds needed to upgrade your drop speed and skill stop frequency for the timed courses. (If you don't upgrade those, you'll get walled on like level 5 of classic mode even on easy difficulty lol).

The only real gameplay gripe I have was how disappointing arcade mode was - just 2 levels, relying on more casino-style gimmicks and generally not being that fun. Considering all the stuff you collect for arcade mode in the other two modes, yeah that was a bit disappointing. Oh well.

Oh yeah, and they're allegedly planning on making more levels, so even more coin pushing over time... if the game does well enough to receive the support, that is. Maybe if they improved their presentation a bit, that would help, because the only reason I even got this game myself was cuz I watched someone else stream it.
