The original Half-Life episode one/two are now stitched into HL2 and are no longer available in the library, will there be any problems launching this game as it requires the episode one?

Hey! So.... I really loved HL2 VR mod.. No major issues.. But for some reason in Episode 1 you guys decided to make the ladder a little more realistic and it's making things much worse. Specially when I'm trying to climb one while getting shot by a Stryder! It's way too slow and clunky to manually climb up a ladder. Is there a way to disable this and just use the thumbstick to climb? Basically I need to climb to get access to the rockets for the launcher but I always die trying to climb up and get stu...
