i wish steam will put more csi games on steam

i really would appreciate it if the first csi game (dark motives) could be made compatible with windows 7 and available on steam. i really loved this game over all the other csi games. unfortunatly i no longer have a cd and trying to find it anywhere has proven difficult. aside from whether i want to pay for the risk of the game not working. not sure if anyone reads this, but hey, if you never shoot, you'll always miss....

When I start the game the desktop resolution changes and I see either a empty black window or something down to the right, or some sort of insivible window, then nothing. Task manager says the task is non-responsive, after I kill the task the resolution reverts, oddly enough. Any tips or tricks or should I just give up?...
