I would recommend grabbing this game on sale. I payed $12 for it, and that felt about right to me. I loved the first game, and was very excited to see the world brought into 3D. I was not disappointed - the world was well crafted and kept the morbid spirit of the original. The story is vague, but is supplemented by the lore unlocked from fighting enemies. Combat is fun and upgrading the character/ weapons is straightforward. On the down side, it felt like levels may not have gotten fully developed. There were many points in the game where I would get stuck on a crack in the floor and have to reload the game. I also fell through the ground at a couple of points and ended up under the map. Luckily, save points a frequent enough that the reloads weren't too terrible.

if you are a fan of the world of this game and how the first one played don't get this game the gun play is gutted into a bloodborne mechanic and you don't get to explore the world just some levels that kinda tells the story of what happened to said places
