Coming soon or not?

I love this game. Been playing it since 2009 on my console. However, if I was in charge of the new remake, I'd change some things, like some mechanics and sections in the game. What would you change, keep, remove, or improve?

I never managed to finish this game. I tried a few times on the PS4, but unfortunately, I never found a mate who wanted to finish it with me. Maybe there's someone out there who'd like to play with me :D I speak German, English, and Italian as well.
